Orang Pendek adalah hewan kriptid asal Pulau Sumatera dan telah dikenal sejak 100 tahun lalu oleh penghuni hutan, penduduk, kolonis belanda dan ilmuwan. Penelitian menyebutkan bahwa orang pendek adalah primata berjalan yang memiliki sekitar 80 cm dan 150 cm.
2. Lembuswana
Makhluk Mitologi ini sering dijadikan simbol dalam kerajaan2 jaman dulu seperti Mulawarman, dan di Cungkup Sunan Prapen. Lembuswana adalah hewan dengan kepala berbentuk gajah yang menggunakan mahkota yang memiliki sepasang sayap dan di keempat kakinya terdapat cula/taji (red: seperti ayam). Masih menurut mitos penduduk sekitar sungai Mahakam, Lembuswana adalah penguasa sungai Mahakam yang tinggal dan bernaung di dasar sungai Mahakam.
3. Orang Bati
Orang Bati adalah hewan yang berada di legenda Pulau Seram. Hewan ini memiliki tubuh seperti manusia dan bersayap seperti kelelawar. Diceritakan bahwa ia tinggal di gunung Kairatu dan suka menculik anak kecil untuk disantap.
4. Naga Besukih
Naga Besukih adalah naga yang diceritakan dalam asal-usul selat Bali. Dalam cerita, Naga ini dapat dipanggil menggunakan genta pemujaan milik Begawan Sidi Mantra. Juga diceritakan bahwa ia dapat mengeluarkan emas dan permata dari dalam sisiknya.
5. Garuda
Garuda adalah salah satu dewa dalam agama Hindu dan Buddha. Ia merupakan wahana Dewa Wisnu, salah satu Trimurti atau manifestasi bentuk Tuhan dalam agama Hindu. Garuda digambarkan bertubuh emas, berwajah putih, bersayap merah. Paruh dan sayapnya mirip elang, tetapi tubuhnya seperti manusia. Ukurannya besar sehingga dapat menghalangi matahari.
6. Ahool
Ahool adalah hewan seperti kelelawar raksasa atau beberapa menyebutkan seekor Pterodactil yang tinggal di hutan di Pulau Jawa. Beberapa informasi mengatakan bahwa Ahool memiliki panjang sayap sekitar 3 meter. Pertama kali dijelaskan bahwa ia terlihat di gunung Salak.
7. Veo
Veo adalah hewan kriptid asal pulau Rinca dan digambarkan oleh Carl Shuker dalam buku The Beasts That Hide from Man: Seeking the World’s Last Undiscovered Animals mirip Teringgiling tapi ukurannya sebesar kuda.
8. Ebu Gogo
Ebu Gogo adalah makhluk seperti manusia yang muncul pada mitologi penduduk pulau Flores, Indonesia, yang memiliki bentuk yang mirip dengan leprechaun atau peri. “Orang kecil” tersebut dikatakan memiliki tinggi satu meter, ditutupi rambut, periuk-berperut, dan dengan telinga yang menjulur. Mereka berjalan agak kikuk dan sering “berbisik” yang dikatakan sebagai bahasa mereka. Penduduk pulau juga berkata bahwa Ebu Gogo dapat mengulangi apa yang mereka katakan.
9. Warak Ngendog
Warak Ngendog adalah hewan mitos yang digambarkan seekor badak membawa telur di punggungnya. Bagian-bagian tubuhnya terdiri dari Naga (Cina), Buraq (Arab) dan Kambing (Jawa). Biasanya dijadikan maskot dalam acara Dugderan yang dilaksanakan beberapa hari sebelum bulan puasa.
